The National Center for Health and Wellness has one primary focus:
to bring free health and wellness information to every person. With
the help of our team of passionate, creative individuals, the NCHW
is able to accomplish this goal through extensive research, development
and maintenance of our vast network of educational resources.
Contributors from around the globe help to make this flow of information
possible. In order to keep up with our ever changing knowledge base,
and to keep our resources free for our visitors, the National Center
for Health and Wellness relies on financial contributions from the
public to help fund our projects. Our many reference
works include
The Health Center encyclopedia, Insight Journal
magazine, as well
as our free Guides to Health and Wellness, which are geared toward
emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, occupational,
and environmental life areas.
The National Center for Health and Wellness also contributes to
other organizations dedicated to a variety of health and wellness
projects, including:
American Botanical Council
Anxiety Disorders Association of America
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
The Nature Conservancy
The Food Project.org
The Make-A-Wish Foundation
The New York Landmarks Conservancy
The Shade Tree Shelter
The Dallas Life Foundation
Donations
made to the National Center for Health and Wellness serve to fund
the wellness revolution through knowledge and education made available
for every person interested in learning how to live the best life
imaginable.
